Photographer’s Notes:
“For me, this was about the fun and exploration. The beauty that we don’t see enough of in main stream media. It was about the unexpected places and people. The whole thing of shooting with someone who would be widely known as an ‘alternative model’… And the irony of that. Because there are more women and people who look like you than the people being featured. The fact that our location was a literal trailer park… It points to a conclusion that beauty can be found anywhere if you’re willing to see it.
The lighting in Frida was so good that with very little manipulation of the space and color, we got our end result. Such an interesting place to photograph.”
